Since childhood, I have had a gift for learning languages. This meant that I learned a number of languages by radio as a teenager, and deliberately studied Indo-European and Ural-Altaic languages during my degree.
As a supplement to my consultancy activities, I translate written texts from over 30 languages into English. I do not necessarily speak these languages, but am able to translate from them - maybe as people are able to solve crossword puzzles.
I have a number of contacts in professional translation, and can advise companies in choosing good collaborators for simultaneous translation or for the translation of written material from a foreign language into English, or from English into a foreign language.
